The download button you already have
Every big streaming app in India has a download button on its movies and episodes. Netflix, Prime Video, JioHotstar, ZEE5, SonyLIV and Aha all let you save a title inside the app on your phone or tablet and watch it later with the internet switched off. It is the easiest way to carry Panchayat onto a long train journey or RRR onto a flight.
How to download inside the app
Open the title in the app and look for the downward arrow beside the play button or beside each episode. Choose the quality before you tap it: the smaller setting saves space and data, and the higher one looks sharper on a big screen. The file stays inside the app, ready in the Downloads tab, and plays even in airplane mode.
Finding which app has the title

Good to know
Downloads inside an app last for a set period, usually a few weeks, and refresh when you reconnect. Most plans allow downloads on a handful of devices at once. For rentals, the download window starts when you first press play, so start the movie when you are ready to finish it.
